About Dean
I began my media career in my senior year of high school, at NIC participating in the motion picture lighting program.
After graduating I fled as far away from here as I could, to Australia where I worked as an AV technician. This allowed me to become familiar with some of the tech used in broadcasting and was a massive learning experience.
Finally, I began my journey at BCIT this year taking on part time studies before enrolling in full time broadcasting program this fall and filled my summer working at JETFM.

June 28th, 2022
Graduated High School and NIC’s motion picture program
That’s right, I was graduating from college programs at the same time as I was from high school.
February 1st, 2023
AV technition
Flew to the other side of the world to get mu feet wet with broadcasting equip. Worked at an on site resort in QLD.
April 20, 2025
Starts broadcasting school at BCIT
Completed the intro to broadcasting and sports broadcasting part time courses before enrolling in the full time radio arts and entertainment course.
May 5th, 2025
First radio gig
Successfully hired to JETFM radio. took parts in community events and on location reports.
October 15th, 2025
Hired by Port Moody Panthers
Broke into my first sports broadcasting gig by becoming the Port Moody Panthers colour commentator.
